Purpose of Position<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

O\u2019Two Hotels is seeking a responsible and composed Night Manager to lead overnight operations across Terra by O\u2019Two and Mar by O\u2019Two. This role carries the keys to the quiet hours: guest care, safety, service recovery, handovers, emergency response and operational control while the broader leadership team is off-site.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Key responsibilities<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

  • Lead the overnight operation and act as manager on duty during night shifts.<\/p><\/li>

  • Oversee late arrivals, early departures, guest requests, complaints, incidents and service recovery.<\/p><\/li>

  • Support night audit procedures, revenue checks, handovers and system accuracy.<\/p><\/li>

  • Coordinate with Security, Housekeeping, Room Service, Maintenance and Front Office during overnight hours.<\/p><\/li>

  • Ensure guest safety, hotel security, emergency procedures and quiet-hour standards are maintained.<\/p><\/li>

  • Conduct property walks and identify presentation, maintenance, security or operational concerns.<\/p><\/li>

  • Prepare clear morning handovers for management and relevant departments.<\/p><\/li>

  • Coach and support overnight team members to deliver professional service with confidence.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Required Qualifications<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

    Essential:<\/strong><\/p>

    • Minimum 3 years’ front office or night management experience, including manager-on-duty responsibility.<\/p><\/li>

    • Must currently hold a similar role within a 4-star luxury or 5-star luxury hotel environment.<\/p><\/li>

    • Protel PMS experience is essential.<\/p><\/li>

    • Strong night audit, cashiering, guest recovery and emergency response experience.<\/p><\/li>

    • Able to work night shifts, weekends and public holidays.<\/p><\/li>

    • Must be eligible to work in South Africa.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      Preferred:<\/strong><\/p>

      • Experience in an international or internationally branded hotel environment will be highly advantageous.<\/li>
      • First aid, fire-life-safety or hotel pre-opening experience will be advantageous.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
